Hello dear readers of Tecnogalaxy, today we will talk about all the leaks of GTA 6.

Although the developer Rockstar Games has not officially announced Grand Theft Auto 6. After, GTA 5 and its associated online multiplayer component, GTA Online, continue to be one of the most played games of all time.

A new leak has emerged suggesting that GTA 6 will remain true to a modern setting.

Tom Henderson, an informant with an excellent resume, including accurate disclosure of information about Battlefield 6 and Call of Duty, stated that GTA 6 will be set in the present day, rather than the setting of the 1980s that had previously been suggested.

If Rockstar had announced GTA 6 the day after the release of Red Dead Redemption 2 (October 26, 2018), then based on historical delays between the GTA announcements for consoles and the release, we would be waiting 22 months, then August 2020.

Of course Rockstar didn’t. In fact, it did nothing, so all we have to do is that GTA 6 was “at the start of development” from April 2020. This makes it difficult to predict any kind of release window, but we could at least hear about the game by the end of 2021, with a potential release in 2022.

Of course it’s quite possible that Rockstar could try to minimize the window between announcement and release, but that’s contrary to everything we know about pre-release hype cycles and preorder drive. As physical stores continue to decline, however, a “surprise” digital version remains a more viable, though absurdly daring consideration.

There are fairly accredited theories that GTA 6 will present a map covering all 52 North American states, rather than a single city. GTA 6 could use mechanics similar to that of Ubisoft’s driving game, The Crew, which crossed the entire country flanking key cities.

Could it happen? It seems entirely plausible that the scale of the game will increase, perhaps with places known as Los Santos, Liberty City and Vice City… or to understand more global states or cities.

The Noire on HTC Vive was an enticing, though more measured, taste of how GTA might feel in virtual reality.

According to rumors circulating in online forums citing known sources, GTA 6 will arrive with full support for virtual reality. No, it’s not just a few VR missions, but rather the entire game, like Resident Evil 7.

Combining the most credible pieces of the puzzle, Grand Theft Auto 6 will be launched on a new generation of hardware (such as PS5), set in multiple locations with multiple playable characters and at least one female protagonist.

You can’t overestimate the success of GTA Online, which had the biggest year in 2017, with a record number of players in December,The recent Take Two earnings call in February 2018. GTA 5 has now sold over 90 million copies, but GTA Online continues to be the main revenue engine, with earnings estimated at $1.09 billion in July 2017, according to Superdata analysts. Follow the money, as they say in The Wire, and GTA 6 can only be an online game.

GTA 6 will probably address global issues of inequality, immigration (although GTA 4 has a lot to say), terrorism, “Fake news”. Technologically, a complete jump into virtual reality seems unlikely, but don’t rule out VR/AR experiments.

Visually, you can compare the jump from GTA: San Andreas (PS2) to GTA 4 (PS3), or look at the work of the GTA 5 modding community for PC and the incredible mod of GTA Redux. The real progress of GTA 6 could concern the behavioral artificial intelligence, the dynamic cycles of time and time, the permanently deformable environments and the monitoring of the statistics of the player.
